Monday we are going to take some of the Salsa Chicken leftovers and use it in Chicken Burritos.  The only thing you have to do is add some extra veggies on top if you want!
Chicken Burritos
This is my own recipe...you can make it your own...Just add cut up the Salsa Chicken and put it into burritos...very simple!

Tuesday we are going to take thoes leftovers and add them to the white chicken chili.  It will give it a good flavor to have some salsa in the chili....yumm

Wednesday we are going to change it up a bit and have Pasta.

Thursday I am going to make a meal that can last through the weekend and through part of next week.  We have vacation next week and I do not want to spend to much time in the kitchen!

Friday I am going to do the same thing as Thursday....make a meal that we can have as leftovers!  This Lasagna is a little different.  We can't find Ricotta Cheese or Cottage Cheese here so this lasagna does not have either!

Guess what mommy and Jovee did???

Jovee and I went to the store to pick out some things....can you guess what we are making?????

You guessed it ....

COOKIES

I love cookies and you know what is funny????  Cookies are quite easy to make.  These are a fun recipe.  They have everything I like...Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal.  YUM!  Just make then like you would any normal cookie and then add 1 cup of Peanut butter...or 1 1/2 cups if you like a peanut butter flavor, and 1 cup of quick time oats!
Jovee had some babysitters come over and watch her last night so they got to enjoy the cookies...and some milk  ;-)

Jovee thought we did a good job on the cookies....
(ha, just wanted to add this picture for fun...she is so cute!)

A Ham Family Original

One of our favorite meals to make is Egg, Eyish, and Cheese sandwiches.  What is "Eyish" you say..  Well it is the bread of Egypt.  It is like pita bread but a little thicker and lots of flour on the top.  We really like it, and it is cheap!

First you need:

Eggs, Eyish, and Cheese

 Then fry up three eggs
Then you need to have a sexy man come and help you.......  :-)
After the eggs are done put them on on side of the Eyish, and put 2 slices of cheese on it
Then place the other piece of Eyish on the top
Then place in it the frying pan and fry it on both sides
 Then Eat it!!!!!!!
I know you think...this sounds a lot like an egg mcmuffin from McDonalds....but it is way better!!!!!!!!  Try it!

New Blog

I love cooking dinner, and snacks, for my husband.  You know what they say..."A way to a man's heart is through his stomach"!  It has been fun to explore the different spices and herbs that I can find here in Egypt.  When I am cooking dinner and I can't find something I need for the recipe we just say we are "making it Egyptian style"!  We do that a lot, and it is so much fun!  I hope that you enjoy the blog and we can share some ideas with each other!
